Every 8 seconds someone dies from a tobacco related disease

Cigarette smoking is the major single cause of cancer mortality in the U.S. despite the fact that it is the MOST PREVENTABLE cause of premature death in our society. If smoking were discovered today, it would never pass any of the world's health and safety requirements for human use. In fact, with the toxins smoking introduces into the body, cigarettes would be classed as a dangerous poison and would not be made available for public use.

After 30 years of use internationally in Europe and Canada, low-level laser therapy is available here in the United States. Low-level laser is being studied in the U.S. to determine if it helps treat nicotine addiction!

Our principal goal is to assist smokers with ending their nicotine addiction. Our clinic's tranquil atmosphere reflects a compassionate and innovative organization truly committed to helping people live healthy, happy and productive lives.

The treatment is virtually painless and in a very short period of time, you can become smoke free! We use a low level laser (also known as a therapeutic or cold laser). It works along the same principle as acupuncture but of course, no painful needles. It is a very relaxing and pleasant treatment. Most of our clients become extremely relaxed and fall asleep.

We work on three different areas with the treatment. First, we treat points for the addiction to nicotine, to help block your body's need for that drug; second, we treat diet points to help control your appetite and diminish excessive weight gain; and third we treat stress and relaxation points to help avoid the withdrawal symptoms that you would normally experience if you tried to quit on your own.

LASER THERAPY QUIT SMOKING

Laser Pain Therapy Center is working with the
FDA on a clinical study under IRB guidelines.

Inhaling tobacco smoke causes several
immediate physical reactions:

• Your heart rate begins to rise as much as 30%
• Nicotine raises your blood pressure, making your
   heart work harder
• Carbon monoxide in the smoke makes it harder
for your blood to carry oxygen

It should come as no surprise that...

• A cigarette smoker has 2-3 times the risk of having
a heart attack than a nonsmoker

• Smoking is one of the leading causes of coronary heart
   disease in the U.S.

• Cigarettes kill more Americans than alcohol, suicide,
   AIDS, homicide, & illegal drugs

• Women who use tobacco during pregnancy are more likely
   to have adverse birth outcomes

• Many doctors today won't perform surgery until the patient
   stops smoking

Smoking is Poison
